drop dunnies up at the main camp site near the road on the eastern bank north side of the road. if you take the track from the eastern end of main site you will find plenty of secluded spots along the eastern bank of the river, sites also on the western bank, but, bit of a walk across the bridge to the dunnies. there are remains of the original cobb N co crossing over the creek just south of the road bridge. Windorah is the site of the first solar power station in Qld, unfortunately it was out of order when we went thru and they were waiting for crew to return to repair it.
