we stayed on the hilltop site which has a drop dunny and coleman gas hot shower. large window cutout in wall gives fantastic views from the loo/shower. it is a fairly large property, at $36 it is a little expensive, but, it would be a great place to hide away from the world for a few days. no power or drinking water on site. nearest supplies are woolworths at Churchill, about an hour away so take everything in with you. only drawback was it was blowing a freezing cold wind which didn't really help. sorry, no photos, I had problem with wiring on van so didn't really get time. they also have an onsite van you can hire.

LAKE DOUGLAS WA
ABOUT 12K WEST OF KALGOORLIE OFF THE GREAT EASTERN HIGHWAY.
GPS; 30 50 38S 121 23 35E
GPS; 30 50 38S 121 23 35E
travel about 3.5k south from the turnoff, as you approach the dam wall there is a track goes off to the right to camp sites on the bank of the lake, but, when we were there, these were pretty popular and not much privacy. the track to the left goes down to camp area below the dam, drop dunnies are here. if you sort of go diagonally across the camp area from the dunnies there is a track leads over a small hill which leads to stacks of private/secluded campsites that are ideal for nude camping. there is a walk you can do around the lake.

GALENA BRIDGE, MURCHISON RIVER WA
115K SOUTH OF BILLABONG ROADHOUSE ON THE NORTH WESTERN COASTAL H'WAY.
GPS; 27 49 607S 114 41 304E
GPS; 27 49 607S 114 41 304E
dunnies are on the southern bank in the area used by most people. if you turn into the camp area on the northern bank there is a track veers off to right as you turn in, this goes down to sites along the river bank, but like southern area, usually has a few set up there. if you continue straight ahead for about 1k(track on right about 0.7k will get you there, but a bit rough!) you will come out into a large clear area that is pretty much out of sight of the other areas, if this is occupied (by textiles) just return to main track as there are other tracks down to riverbank further down. last time we were there the river level was quite low, but still enough water to wash/shower with.
one of the secluded spots, if you go looking. tree line on left is top of river bank
some of the rock holes in the river still with water in them
NEWMAN ROCK WA
50K west of Balladonia on eyre highway. GPS; 32 07 117S 123 09 923E
from the sign posted turn off, head northish for about 1k. several secluded sites off the main track as you drive in. no dunnies, but, time we were there, the rock hole had rain water in it so was able to have a bath/shower/wash with that. without the rain water probably best suited for overnight stay.
JILLBUNYA ROCKHOLE WA
44k west of cocklebiddy on the eyre highway. GPS; 32 10 25S 125 40 25E
no dunnies. at the western end of the rest area there is a track runs off thru scrub. the track goes for about 1k and there are several secluded camp sites along the way, there is a turn around area at the end of the track if needed. trucks use the area up near the road, but, you are well screened by the scrub and noise wasn't a problem the night we stayed there. we went for a bit of a walk but didn't find the rockhole.
COOPER CREEK QLD
10K east of Windorah on the diamantina development road. GPS 25 22 14S 142 44 46E.
drop dunnies up at the main camp site near the road on the eastern bank north side of the road. if you take the track from the eastern end of main site you will find plenty of secluded spots along the eastern bank of the river, sites also on the western bank, but, bit of a walk across the bridge to the dunnies. there are remains of the original cobb N co crossing over the creek just south of the road bridge. Windorah is the site of the first solar power station in Qld, unfortunately it was out of order when we went thru and they were waiting for crew to return to repair it.

Wilson River Noccundra QLD
opposite the Noccundra pub on the noccundra warry warry gate road. GPS 27 49 370S 142 34 926E
as you enter the main camparea there is a track runs off to your right, if you follow that track there a a few spots secluded enough up there for nude camping. no facilities in the camp area, however, toilets and showers are available next door to the pub for a gold coin donation to the RFDS at the bar of the pub. to camp nude up the track, you will sacrifice camping next to the water as sites in main area on on bank of the lagoon
Macsland rest area QLD
approx. 24k north of Longreach on the Landsborough Highway. GPS 23 1 34S 144 07 39E.
there are drop dunnies at the truck stop area at front of site. if you follow the dirt track from the southern end of the truck stop area there are stacks of spots out the back which are screened from the road noise and view so ideal for nude camping. there is a train line runs parallel to the highway, but, we have camped there twice and seen only one train each visit so hasn't really been a problem.
mary kathleen mine site QLD
the abandoned mary Kathleen village, situated aprox midway between Cloncurry and Mt Isa on the barkly highway. GPS 20 46 170S 139 58 398E.
there is an onsite caretaker who is happy to have nudists stay, he claims we don't winge like the backpackers! there are no facilities. although back out on the highway about 4K east is a rest area with flush dunnies if you don't want to take a shovel behind the tree. when we were there the old mine site was accessable, about 7k out of the village. when you turn in off the highway not far down on your right is a break in the fence with a dirt track leading in to village, if you miss the break in the fenc, no sweat, just past it is an old cattle grid that takes you to same track. when you hit the T intersection turn right onto the bitumen, follow that down and turn left at the eight street on the left, then turn right over the creek and camp up towards the end of residential sites. it is a good spot for an overnight or couple of days to sit back and let the world go away. be sure to sign the wandering bares visitor book before you leave. the road out to the mine is probably no good for towing and is the one leaving towards the right lower corner of the map and if you don't come thru the fence the bitumen road in was fairly rough in places due to washaways.

goongarrie homestead WA
this is another pastoral lease that has been passed back to national parks. it is about 84k north of Kalgoorlie w.a. on the Kalgoorlie-Menzies Road. homestead is about 14k in from the highway.
GPS;
homestead 30.02.377S 121.09.419E. turn off 30.02.372S 121.09.356E
homestead 30.02.377S 121.09.419E. turn off 30.02.372S 121.09.356E
nominal camp fees are payable to NPWS in Kalgoorlie and can be done over the phone if you are heading south. it is dirt road in but shouldn't be a problem with 2wd unless there has been heaps of rain! there are 3 buildings, all in pretty good nick, old wood chip heaters and plumbing still operational in all three of the buildings and water is from rain water tanks, so hot showers are available after you fire up the chip heater. there is plenty of room and first night we were there, a group of 4WDs also camped the night, we were out of sight and hearing of each other, and had we not talked to them when they arrived, neither would have known the other was there. there is a short walk you can do with sign posts along the way. inside the buildings is amazingly clear of vandalism and graffiti and you could even sleep in them if you wanted.

Walleroo Wilderness Resort QLD
I suspect the name is a little tongue in cheek, as it is an unmarked rest area adjacent to Wallaroo property.
GPS; 25 18 108S 148 39 474E
GPS; 25 18 108S 148 39 474E
It is situated on the Carnarvon Highway about 80k north of Injune QLD. There are no facilities so if you need to go, grab a shovel and go hide behind a tree, there is a large number of private areas to camp in, so even if others are there, you should be able to find somewhere to hide out the back and be naked. there is a truck stop area near the road but there is enough distance/trees to screen out most of the road noise. the area was popular with early poddy dodgers. unfortunately we didn't have time this trip, but next time we plan to spend a couple of nights there and go exploring.

the track in the top right corner leads to many secluded spots out the back.
KOONALDA HOMESTEAD, NULLABOR NATIONAL PARK, S.A.
Turn off the eyre highway approx. 90k east of Border Village (wa/sa border) GPS for the turnoff are; 13 27 347S 129 51 293E The homestead is about 15k in off the highway, shortly before you reach the homestead you cross the remains of the old eyre highway, this dirt track was only crossing until the new bitumen road was finally finished.
Koonalda is an old pastoral lease, which was handed back to national parks in the 1980s. the homestead building is still standing, there is an info board at the front door with a bit of a history of the place. Last time we passed thru the managers hut had been cleaned up and relined, the old shearing shed is partly in tact. About another 15k down the track is Koonalda Caves, it has been fenced off and no access to the cave. the site is ideally situated to facilitate eating of any fruit & vegs before you hit the quarantine check points at Border Village or Ceduna if you are heading east. There is a long drop toilet and rain water tank near the managers hut. each time we have stayed there we have been only ones there so being naked was not a problem, but, this may take a bit of strategic placement if others are there. There is a fire place in the managers hut, but, you are in national park so collection of firewood is not permitted, this is not a free camp, despite popular myth. camp fees are payable at NPWS at Ceduna, from memory last time we stayed it was $6 per person per night, if travelling east you call in and pay fees when you hit Ceduna.

fireplace in the managers hut, this visit was in july and it was BLOODY cold!

this is a collection of campsites I have found, where I have been able to be naked most if not all the time I have been there. i have set this up in the hope of aiding other nudists who are on the road and like to be nude when they camp. I will be adding to the list as I continue to travel around aussie so hope it assists others. would love to have comments back about sites others have found, or updates on any I have posted. Over the next few days I will put those I have now and after that will add as I find them.
